About Us

Welcome to Equus Dry, we are a new business based in the heart of Wicklow, Rep.Ireland. Having been involved with horses all our lives spending more time now as the groom and sick of being cold, wet and wind blown. We sought many coats of all sizes and were matched with expensive import duties and still being wet! We thought it was time to design a coat that would suit the European horse market, working with colleagues here in Wicklow we have launched Equus Dry a waterproof coat that is warm, oversized and practical, keeping you dry no matter what the seasons are throwing at you.

Equus Dry has been a work in progress for years sourcing the best of materials making our coat the highest quality on the european market.  We have started slow as quality has been our priority with further colours and sizes to come over the coming months.

We pride ourselves on quality offering our coats to the equestrian market with the following qualities:-

Our Care guide

Only wash when needed in a 30 degree wash, cool and low spin.  Do not tumble dry, iron or dry clean, do not use fabric conditioner.

Just like the horse rugs the more you wash it will affect how waterproof your coat is so our advice is only wash when needed otherwise sponge wipe, recommended waterproofing products are Nikwax Tech range this should be completed after every wash in order to remain water proof.

Leg straps, Their positioning is to keep your legs warm and dry while riding or walking on a windy day.  If undue pressure is applied they will break, please remember to undo straps while dismounting.

Zip care:- our zips are a 2 way zip, make sure to join both zips together for use
